OTHO KIRK

Funeral services will be held from Nevada Seventh Day Adventist Church Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Paul Anderson officiating for Otho Clarence Kirk, 104 I Ave., Nevada who died Friday afternoon at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. He was 73.

Born July 19, 1901, he was the son of James and Anna Kirk at College View, Nebraska. He had been a resident of Nevada for 33 years, being a school teacher for 14 years and an employee of Iowa State University for 27 years. He was married to Grace Buck on August 7, 1932 in Cedar Lake, Michigan and had been a Past Elder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Michel (Elaine) Badiere of Toronto, Ontario; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Herman Sorensen of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home after noon Sunday. A memorial fund has been established.
