FREDERICK L. DIETEL

Frederick L. Dietel, 98, a resident of Long Term Care at Story County Hospital, Nevada IA, died there Tuesday, March 4, 1986. Death was due to cancer.

Mr. Dietel was born Nov. 12, 1987 at Hawkeye IA to Ernest J. and Margaretha Peetz Dietel.

He graduated fro high school at Hawkeye.

Mr. Kietel was unmarried. He lived in Chicago IL from 1918 to 1935 and at Nevada from 1935 to 1986.

He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and was a World War I veteran.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 7, at Cooper-Ryan Fuenral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy., Nevada, with Pastor Norman Haas officiating. Interment will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Survivors include tow sisters, Ruth Venen of Paradise CA and Laura McGee of North Grand Care Center, Ames IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Carl, Victor, Herbert and Emil, and a sister, Mathilda.

Visitation will be held at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home Thursday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
