Barbara Lea Bartlett, 59, of Hubbard died of cancer Thursday at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at United Church of Christ in Clemons, of which she was a member. Cremation will follow services. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date at Bivens Grove Cemetery near Clemons.

Mrs. Bartlett was born in State Center. She was a secretary with the Marshalltown Department of Welfare and Family Services.

She is survived by her husband, William D.; two sons, Russell of Port Orchard, Wash., and Steven of Whitten; a daughter, Teresa LaCross of Whitten; her mother, Marjorie Funke of Clemons, Randall Funke of Zearing and Brian Funke of Nevada, Ia.; two sisters, Cheryl Halverson of Marshalltown and Cindy Funke of Zearing; and a grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register, Sat 14 Dec 2002.
