Obituary
Mrs. Neasham was born in the union of John Wesley Ambrose and Lucy McNair Ambrose in Milledgeville, Ill., on Nov. 18, 1874. In the year 1878 her father J. W. Ambrose, moved his family to Story county, Iowa, residing in Colo for ten years and then moving in Nevada where Mr. Ambrose later established a department store under the firm name Ambrose & Sons. On June 19, 1907, Alice Ambrose was united in marriage to Fred J. Neasham. To this union was born a son, Frederick Wayne, who passed away at the age of 9 years, a son Lee and two daughters, Lucy and Alice.
Mrs. Neasham had been a resident of Nevada for 67 years a member of the Methodist church of Nevada for 56 years. She has made her life eternal through the example of good living and parental love and wisdom, as observed by her son and daughters and their respective children.
Mrs. Neasham's death followed that of her husband by 11 years. Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. C. R. Adams of Boise, Idaho; a brother, H. G. Ambrose of Nevada; a son, Leo B. Neasham of Nevada; and two daughters, Mrs. John Roths and Mrs. Homer Miller, both of Enterprise, Ore. There are nine grandchildren, five of whom are sons and daughters of Leo and Winnifred Neasham of Nevada. They are Frederick Lee, Richard Dean, John William, Dianna Lynn and Mary Ann Neasham. John and Lucy Roths have one daughter, Alice Lu, of Enterprise, Ore. and Homer and Alice Miller have three children, Victoria Ann, Alice Donna and Thomas Neasham Miller of Enterprise, Ore.
