Mrs. M. Easton, 88, died Monday

Mrs. Mary Easton, 88, St. Anthony, died Monday* at the Pleasant View Nursing Home, State Center. She suffered a stroke about a week ago.

Mrs. Easton was born in LeRoy, Ill., but had been a resident of the St. Anthony area for 58 years.

Survivors include two sons, John of St. Anthony and Richard of Marian, Mont.; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Turner of Albia, ten grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the St. Anthony Christian Church Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Dean Wolfe, Zearing, officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing, until noon Thursday.
