Leslie Gene Hanson
June 29, 1926 - March 10, 2014

Leslie Gene Hanson, age 87, passed away March 10th, 2014 in Ames, Iowa.

Leslie Hanson was born in Webster City, Iowa on June 19, 1926 to Alvey and Alice (Claflin) Hanson. He was joined in marriage November 29, 1958 to Madeline Johnson. In 1950, he joined the Army. He farmed part of his life and later on worked at Sunstrand Manufacturing as a security guard.

He is survived by his daughter Linda Kruse of Ames, grandchildren, Nicole Rittgers of Story City and Brandon Rittgers of Ames, and a great-granchild, Cory Rittgers of Story City.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
