Wayne Dale Hedberg
July 3, 1956 - March 11, 2014

Wayne Dale Hedberg age 57, of Des Moines, formerly of Ames died Tuesday, March 11, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A celebration of life service is being planned for a later date.

Wayne was born July 3, 1956, in Ames, Iowa the son of Melvin and Violet Hedberg. He graduated from Ames, High School in 1975. Wayne worked for the Des Moines Public School System retiring in 2012. Wayne was active with Native Americans practices and found them to be very positive.

He is survived by his siblings, Gene (Barb) Hedberg of Nevada, Larry (Karen) Hedberg of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Linda Hedberg of Ames, 7 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
