Mrs. Prescott dead at 62

Mrs. Lillian B. Prescott, 62, Nevada, died at 9:27 p.m. Monday in the Story County Hospital, where she had been a patient about three weeks.

Born in Story County the daughter of Lewis and Bertha Rasmusson, she had lived in the county her entire life.

She was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Prescott is survived by two son, Roger, Des Moines and Daniel, Iowa City; a daughter Mrs. Lois Evans, Carroll; five grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond Rasmusson, Indianola, Jeffrey Rasmusson, Nevada, and Donald Rasmusson, Roland; and five sisters, Mrs. Willam Hansen, Mrs. Clarence Sampson and Mrs. William Vasey, all of Nevada, Mrs. Carl Bennett, Des Moines, and Mrs. Curtis Jacobson, Roland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, who died in 1959, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Memorial Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Martin Suhr, Newton, officiating. Burial will be in the Roland Cemetery.
