FORMER COLLINS WOMAN IS DEAD
COLLINS--Collins friend have received word of the death of Mrs. Eva Fellowshaw Kirkpatrick at her home in San Diego, Cal., Monday, January 4. Burial services were held on Thursday, January 7, and the body placed in a receiving vault where it will remain until May when it will be shipped to Collins for burial in the family lot in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was Eva Kester before her first marriage to J. F. Fellowshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Fellowshaw made their home in the west part of Collins for over 15 years. When they first came to Collins they lived on a farm three miles southeast of Collins, later purchasing a home in Collins where Mr. Fellowshaw was engaged in an active collection business until his death about 18 years ago.
After Mr. Fellowshaw's death, Mrs. Fellowshaw left Collins and later married Mr.s Kirkpatrick. She had since made her home in San Diego.
Mrs. Eva Kirkpatrick is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Laura Densmore of San Diego, who cared for her during her last illness, a daughter, Mrs. Lois Pease of Blairsburg, Ia., a son, Roy Fellowshaw of Kansas City, another sister, Mrs. Viola Walker of Colfax, and a niece, Mrs. Andrew Streeter of Mingo.
