Doris Loretta Huhn, 62, of Stanhope, Iowa died Wednesday at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. She had been in ill health for the past two years.

She was born June 29, 1911 in Nevada to Arlie and Mattie Huhn and had lived in Stanhope for the last 20 years. She was a home economics school teacher and a member of the United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Stephens College and Iowa State University.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Ryans Funeral Home in Nevada with Rev. Marvin Hulse officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

She is survived by one niece, Mrs. Bill Atkinson, 2 grand nieces and a grand nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth W. Huhn.
