Annabell Vail rites Saturday

Mrs. Annabell Vail, 73, a resident of the Eastern Star Home at Boone, died there Dec. 24.

She had been a resident of the home since Jan. 24, 1967.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Eastern Star Masonic Home Chapel with the Rev. Ferald LaMotte of the Boone United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Eastern Star services will be held at the Eastern Star Masonic Home Chapel.

Mrs. Vail was born Jan. 4, 1896, in Esquanlawapa, Ala. She had been a sales woman in the Ames Younkers store.

Wile in Ams she was member of First United Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church.

She was also a member of the Business and Professional Women and Laura Chapter No. 115, Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Norris Vail of Farmington, Mass., and a daughter, Mrs. H. H. Merrick of El Cajon, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Vail in 1960.

The Stark-Welin Funeral Chapel in Boone is in charge of funeral arrangements.
