Former resident died in Sioux City

Mr. H. Kenneth Dawson, 53, Sioux City, died Wednesday noon while at work at the Ebasco Construction Co. of Sioux City.

He was born June 6, 1910 in Story County where he was a former employee of the Ray Cook Construction Co.

He was a World War II veteran and member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Opal; a son, Dean of Sioux City, three sisters, Mrs. Vivian Riddlesbarger of Nevada; Mrs. Blanche Anderson of Ames and Mrs. Louise Stillwell of Nevada.

Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. from Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. P. Windman officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
