Clyde Ernest "Bud" Kopf

Clyde Ernest "Bud" Kopf, 84, of Nevada, died on Friday, May 27, at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada. Memorial graveside services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery with Pastor David Burling officiating.

Bud was born Aug. 15, 1920, in Lincoln Township, Story County to Lyle and Mae (Ayers) Kopf. he married Mary Jane Sorensen on August 27, 1957, at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada. Bud had been a farmer, carpenter, security guard, and an attendant at Al's Standard Station. he was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church. Bud enjoyed camping and fishing. Bud had been a lifelong resident of Story County.

Bud is survived by his sister, Betty Robertson of Nevada.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Jane on November 30, 1986, and an infant brother Eldon Kopf.
