Saturday services for Mrs. Gifford

Mrs. Edna G. Gifford, 88, Nevada, died Thursday, May 9 at her home. Services are Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Central Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Gerald Reisen officiating. Burial is in the Nevada Cemetery.

Born Sept. 14, 1885 in Jasper County, she was a resident of Nevada for 43 years. Mrs. Gifford was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church and was past matron of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Celeste Williams. Nevada; six grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents;, a brother, a sister and her husband, C. L. Gifford.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home until noon Saturday.
