Charley Swalwell, Former Jasper Resident, Dies

Charley Swalwell, 87, of Maxwell, a former resident of Jasper Couanty, died Wednesday evening at the Story County Hospital in Nevada.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Peoria Cemetery in Maxwell (Story County.

Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.

Survivors are a daughter, Alice Meyer of Newton; and a brother, George Swalwell of Baxter. ~ Newspaper unnamed, possibly Newton (IA) Daily News or The Des Moines Register.
