Heart Attack Is Fatal Sunday For Willard Marion

Willard J. Marion, 425 Sixth Street, Nevada, died of an apparent heart attack Sunday* morning after he collapsed during services at St. Patricks Church.

He was 73 years of age.

Born in Ft. Pierre, South Dakota, October 23, 1894, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. O.R. Marion.

A carpenter, he had been resident of Nevada for the past 31 years.

Marion was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by one son, Wilson Marion of Little Falls, N. J.; three daughters, Mrs. Jeanne McCarty of Bangued, Abra, Philippine Islands; Mrs. Carol Long of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Miss Virginia Marion of Verona, New Jersey; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Cudmore of Ft. Pierre, S.D. and Miss Evangeline Marion of Ft. Pierre, S.D.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, a sister, and his wife May who died in 1953.

Funeral services will be at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Franz Lohberg officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at the Ryan Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 8 p.m.
