Mrs. T. E. William Dies Today After Long Illness
Mrs. Maude Williams, 37, wife of Dr. T. E. Williams, died at the family home 325 K avenue, at 9:10 a.m. today after suffering with leukemia for more than a year.
Funeral services will be held from Central Presbyterian church of which she was a long active member, Sunday afternoon at 3:30 after which she will be laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery.
Born in Marshall county, Mrs. Williams came to Nevada as a bride and has lived here during her entire married life.
Besides her husband, she leaves two brothers, John Lackey of Marshalltown and a twin brother Claude Lackey of Los Angeles.
She also leaves nieces and many other close relatives and a wide circle of friends.
She had been active in the affairs of Central Presbyterian church since coming here over a quarter of a century ago, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and various other clubs and societies.
