Wilma N. Williams, 80, of Nevada, died Sunday, August 8, 1982 at Story County Hospital in Nevada.
She was born Sept. 4, 1901 in Laddonia, Mo., the daughter of Charles Ellis and Margaret Franklin Heater, and attended school at Laddonia. On April 23, 1919, she married William Clarence Williams at Fairbury, Ill.
Mrs. Williams had lived in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky and Tennessee before moving back to Iowa in 1973. She was a beautician and a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church, the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries and the Nevada Rebecca Lodge.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Reedholm of Nevada, one grandchild, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, George.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the Nevada United Methodist Church, with Rev. Harold Wagner officiating. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.
The family will meet friends at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, on Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
