Louis A. Berka, 91, died this morning at 1:30 a.m. in the Shady Lawn Nursing home in Nevada where he had been a patient for the past three years.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock with the Rev. E. P. Windman officiating.

Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, he had been a resident of Nevada since 1899, for many years being a C. and N.W. section foreman.

Survivors are the sons, Milo and Jerry of nevada Harry of Waterloo, two daughters, Miss Louise Berka of Iowa City and Mrs. Beatrice Erickson of Clermont, also nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1936, and by two sons, Fred and Louis and two daughters, Mrs. Mayme Soper and Mrs. Lottie Porter.
