Harold D. Shoafstall
April 25, 1909 to Feb. 6, 1992

Harold Dee "Doc" Shoafstall, 82, of Nevada died of a stroke at Story County Hospital.

He was born the Harry Dee and Lottie E. (Zenor) Shoafstall at McClay. He was a retired Depot Agent of the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad. He married F. Jane Dutheridge on May 19, 1934, at Albert Lea, Minn. He was member of the Masonic Lodge and the Izaak Walton League and a former member of the Railroad Agents and Telegraphers Association.

Survivors include his wife Jane of Nevada; one son Edwin Shoafstall of Kansas City, Mo.; one grandchild; one sister, Maxine DePaepe of Loma Linda, Calif.; and one brother, Wayne Shoafstall of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents adn an infant grandson.

Visitation was held Sunday and funeral services were held Monday at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial was in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
