JAY ROBERTSON

Jay Alan Robertson, 86, of Nevada, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1982 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

He was born May 30, 1896 in Cambridge, Neb., the son of Jim and Mary Williamson Robertson. He and his wife, Beulah, moved to Story County about twenty years ago.

Mr. Robertson was a farmer and heavy equipment worker and repairman.

He is survived by a sister, Nina Ray, of Humboldt, Neb. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1977, three brothers, Dean, Harley and Ted, two sisters, Ruby and Alta, and his parents.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10 at the Ryan Funeral Home with Mr. Merlyn Silverthorn officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13.
