AGED NEVADA RESIDENT TO BE BURIED SUNDAY

John Paulson, 83, died at the home of his son, Walter Paulson, west of Ames, early Friday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Paulson, former residents of Nevada, had been making their home with their daughter, Mrs. Anna Sorenson, at 808 Burnett avenue.

Mr. Paulson was take out to the home of his son for visit and there was taken critically ill. He had been failing in health for the past year.

He leaves besides his wife who is 86 years of age, two sons, Chris Paulson of Nevada and Walter Paulson of Ames and his daughter, Mrs. Annie Sorenson. He also leaves 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mr. Paulson was a [na]tive of Denmark where he was born July 11, 1849. Mr. and Mrs. Paulson came to Nevada 53 years ago and this had been their home continually until they closed their home and went to live with the daughter.

They would have celebrated their fifty-sixth wedding anniversary October 13. There will be brief services at the Morfoot funeral home, Nevada, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, followed by the funeral at Memorial Lutheran church at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in the Nevada cemetery.
