BERTHA CATHERINA HUEBNER

Bertha Catherina Huebner, 93, of Nevada IA died Friday, Jan. 30, 1987, at Story County Hospital, Nevada.

She was born Feb. 11, 1894 at Clinton IA to John Jvergen Johannsen and Margareta Drews.

She had lived the last 66 years in Nevada, moving here from Clinton.

Mrs. Huebner was a member of the Nevada First Christian Church. She was a past member of of the VFW Auxiliary, past member of World War One Auxiliary, and a member of Two Win Others Church Circle.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at the First Christian Church, Nevada, with Rev. Roy Sanders officiating. Interment was in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Huebner, of Nevada; a son, Wayne Huebner of Marengo IA; a daughter, Geraldine Yvonne Sorensen of Nevada; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters and grandchild.

Visitation was held Sunday, Feb. 1, a Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy., Nevada.
