Z. M. Morrison died Saturday

Zebulon M. Morrison, 95, 1125 Roosevelt Ave., died Saturday morning in a State Center nursing home.

Born in Story County, Mr. Morrison had lived in Ames since 1918 and had been employed as a painter.

Mr. Morrison is survived by three daughters, Mr. W. O. Myers, 818 Burnett Ave., Mrs. Floy Christofferson, Dunedin, Fla. and Mrs. Glen R. Durrell, Stillwater, Okla.; two sons, Clarence E. Morrison, 1525 Wilson Ave. and Robert L. Morrison, 428 Hayward Ave.; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, who died in 1960 and a son, Donald, who died in 1964.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from Stevens Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Leslie J. Black, pastor of the Ontario Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
