Louise Statler Gamble
Word has been received of the death of Louise Statler Gamble, a native of Nevada, who died Staurday, Jan. 12, in Peoria, Ill. She had been seriously ill following a stroke in December.
Born Nov. 12, 1897 to Edgar M. and Cora Statler, she graduated from Nevada High School and married Donald Gamble, also a Story County native. The couple established its home in Illinois.
Mrs. Gamble is survived by one son, Gary, of Morton, Ill.; two daughters, Miriam Gamble, with whom she lived in Washtington, Ill., and Donna Lou Marshall of Northbrook, Ill.; one sister, Edna Statler Burns, and a niece, Jane Bebb, both of Mishawaka, Ind.; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister, Marguerite Frederick, and a brother, Samuel E. Statler.
