M. H. TOMS

Funeral services were held Feb. 28 for M. H. Toms who died at the Borton Nursing home in Nevada Feb. 25. The Rev. James Dendler officiated.

Mr. Toms was born July 7, 1872 at Weston, W. Va., the son of of William H. and Amanda J. Toms. He had been a farmer in Story County for 62 years.

Surviving him are three sons, Lawrence of Nevada, Ted of Boone and Clyde of Ames; one daughter, Mrs. Harvey Kyle of Ames. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son and a daughter.

Pallbearers were Albert Alexander, William Buck, Harold Huff, W. E. Huff, Lloyd Jensen and Paul Peterson.

Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.
