MABEL TICHENOR

Final rites for Mrs. Mabel Tichenor were held Feb. 25 at the Ryan Funeral home in Nevada. She died at Story County hospital where she was brought from her home in Tucson, Ariz. when her husband, George Tichenor died three weeks ago.

The Rev. E. R. Walter was in charge of the service.

Mrs. Tichenor was born in Pottawattamie county, Iowa, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. John Bamford. She is survived by her son Carlton and two grandsons of Nevada.

She had lived south of Nevada since 1939 and in 1958 went with her husband to Arizona for his health.

Burial was in the Pleasant Run cemetery near Nevada.
