L. F. Wier died in British Columbia

Lloyd F. Wier, 86, Boone, died Wednesday* at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital in Parksville, British Columbia.

Funeral services tentatively have been set for Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Stark-Welin Funeral Home, Boone.

Born March 28, 1887 in Story City, Mr. Wier was a retired dispatcher for the Chicago and North Western Railroad and moved to British Columbia in 1964.

Survivors include his wife, Johanna, Parksville; a stepson, Albert E. Anderson, Richamond, British Columbia; and two nieces, Mrs. Wanda Daley, 1212 Jefferson St., and Mrs. Avis Heers, 202 Todd Circle.
