Body of Mrs. Carr Buried Here Today
Charles R. Carr arrived in the city today over the Northwestern from Ohio, with the body of his wife, Mrs. Mary Ashford Carr, 69, who died at their home at Greenford, that state, December 10, after an extended illness.
There were sort services held after the grave this morning shortly after the arrival of train at 9:22. The deceased, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Ashford, was born at Calcutta, Ohio, July 28, 1860. She came to Nevada with her parents in 1880 and they had their home east of this city. She was married to Charles R. Carr in 1909. A year later they moved to Redwood Falls, Minn., where they lived until 1915 when they moved back to Ohio, where they lived until her death.
During her residence near Nevada she became a member of Central Presbyterian church and more recently transfered her membership to the same denomination in Leetona, Ohio.
