Lelia Appelgate rites Wednesday

Lelia L. Appelgate, 60, Nevada, died Monday* afternoon at Mary Greeley Hospital where she had been a patient for a month. She had been ill for nine months.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Azel Smith officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Born Aug. 21, 1908 in Nevada, Miss Appelgate was a lifetime resident of Story County.

She had been a clerk for the Reuben H. Donnelley Corp. in Nevada for several years.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Belle Appelgate of Nevada,; two brothers, Dorrel L. and Glen E. Appelgate, both of Nevada; two sisters, Doris L. Appelgate and Mrs. Ruth Cherryholmes both of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and a sister.
