ROSA MARIE CARROLL

Rosa Marie Carroll, 89, of Collins IA, died Monday, Oct. 27, 1987, at Hunanna Hospital in Aurora CO. Death was due to heart failure.

She was born Jan. 11, 1898 to Kenneth Carroll on July 30, 1918. She spent most of her lifetime at Mingo and Collins IA. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Carroll was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Carroll of Collins; three daughters, Margaret Lackey of California, Katherine Huebner of Denver CO and Jeanne Maxwell of Parker CO; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Carroll who died in 1953, and one daughter.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy., Nevada IA, with Rev. William E. Ballard of the United Methodist Church at Nevada officiating. Interment will be n Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.

Visitation was held at the funeral home Thursday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The family received friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
