Martin Malmanger, 71 years, died at the Story County hospital Saturday night* at 11 o'clock where he had been a patient for the past eleven days.

Born in Grand Mound, Iowa, August 4, 1881, Mr. Malmanger came to Story county at the age of seventeen. In 1904 he was united in marriage to Lucy Jessen.

He served as Story county supervisor for 12 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 99 and the Order of the Eastern Star of Nevada which he always served faithfully. He was an active member of the Memorial Lutheran church.

For the past 50 years he has been farming in Story county, north of Nevada.

Mr. Malmanger is survived by his wife, Lucy, one son, Leonard of Madison, Wisconsin, one daughter, Evelyn, Mrs. Wm. Stacy, of Jackson, Mississippi, tow brothers John of Clinton and Peter of Grand Mound, Iowa, and three grandchildren, Miss Norma Malmanger and William and Donald Stacy.
