From Fredergill Family Funeral Home obituary, Collins and Zearing, Story County, Iowa:

Nora Holsinger, 79, of Collins went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Collins United Methodist Church in Collins. Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 14, 2013 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Collins United Methodist Church with Pastor Lewis Flanigan officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Collins.

Nora Delores Holsinger was born on December 27, 1933 to William and Nellie (Roberts) Neale in Collins, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Collins High School. On March 16, 1952 she married Clarence “Bud” Holsinger at the First Methodist Church in Des Moines. Together they raised five children. Nora had a great love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of the Collins United Methodist Church, many church circles, and volunteered at Story County Hospital. Nora babysat numerous children in her home, worked at various grocery stores and cafés in Collins, the Story County Auditor’s Office, Hock Chemicals, helped Bud with the caretaking of Everygreen Cemetery and custodian of the Collins United Methodist Church.

Nora is survived by her children Rhonda, Rodney, Ronald, and Reda; 14 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Randy, brothers Wilfred and Robert, and sisters Connie and Doris.
