Dorothy June Robertson died October 6, 2013 at Bethany Manor in Story City, Iowa at 95 years. Dorothy was born June 12, 1918 at Hubbard, IA to Arthur and Millie (Seibold) Nymeyer. She graduated from Hubbard High School and AIB in Des Moines, IA. September 6, 1942 she married Cecil L. Robertson at Lowry Field in Denver, Colorado. During World War II she was a civilian secretary and stenographer at the Air Force Bases where Cecil was stationed. They farmed for 35 years near Williams, IA and she was a secretary at Northeast Hamilton Community Schools from 1964 to 1981. When they retired, they moved to Story City. Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano and organ and gave piano lessons for over 50 years. She is survived by her daughter Diane Wirkler, son Steven Robertson and wife Glenda; grandchildren Nicholas Robertson and wife Jennifer, Austin Robertson, and Whitney Robertson; and great-grandchildren Birks Robertson, Adelyne Robertson and Teegan Robertson.

No funeral services are planned at this time.
