MRS. EMMA HOSIER

Mrs. Calista Porter, of Nevada is in receipt of word a few days ago of the death* in Long Beach, Calif., of her sister, Mrs. Emma Hosier who had been in ill health for the past year. Funeral services were held in Long Beach on Monday. Mrs. Hosier and her late husband, who was a Methodist minister, had lived in Iowa for many years where he had served various churches. They lived at one time in Nevada. Mrs. Hosier was the former Emma Hoskins of Story county. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Harvey of Long Beach, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Proctor of Nevada and Mrs. M. O. Saunders of Bancroft.
