Margery Stone
Jan. 16, 1926 to Feb. 2, 1994

Margery (Midge) Faye Stone, 68, of Nevada died of complications of emphysema at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames.

She was born in Nevada to Lew and Elizabeth (Dirksen) Hansen. She married Paul W. Stone on Aug. 8, 1945, in Nevada. In 1944, she graduated from Nevada High School. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Nevada. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Nevada.

Survivors include he husband, Paul Stone of Nevada, four daughters, Diana Lough of Nevada, Nency King of Perrysburg, Ohio, Jodie Hunt of Nevada and Julie Stone of Cedar Rapids; her son, Kevin Stone of Lisbon; seven grandsons; her foster brother, Robert Allen of Pella; and her nephew, Robert Miller of San Diego, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ruth Miller.

Funeral services were held Feb. 5 at Central Presbyterian Church, Nevada, with Pastor Brad Braley officiating. Burial was in Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association and Central Presbyterian Church. Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada, was in charge of arrangements.
