Viola Haynes, Nevada, died

Mrs. Viola Haynes, 73, Nevada died Saturday evening at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines where she had been a patient two weeks, after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Born Sept. 13, 1895, in Story County, Mrs. Haynes was a member of the United Methodist Church in Nevada.

Survivors include three sons, Veldon Luverne and Bernard L. of Nevada and Vergil of Huxley; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Love, 221 21st St. and Mrs. Eldon Frye of Nevada; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and her husband, William, who died May 1, 1968.
