Mildred Rouze
March 1, 1913-Sept. 24, 2002

Mildred Rouze, 89, of Washington, D.C., died Sept. 24 of coronary artery disease and renal failure. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Mildred Rouze was born March 1, 1913, in Nevada, the daughter tof Leon and Margaret Stevens. She graduated from Nevada High School. She married Adin Rouze June 2, 1937. She worked as the classified advertising manager of the Ames Daily Tribune. She was a member of Collegiate Methodist Church ans was sponsor of Kappa Phi.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol Wheeler of Washington, D.C.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph's Indian School, N. Main St., Chamberlain, SD, 57326.
