Death of Wm. McIntosh At Olney, Ill.
Wm. McIntosh, born in Story county May 7, 1874, passed away in Olney, Ill. Sunday* where he had gone the week before Thanksgiving to visit at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Fry. He had been accompanied to Olney by his son, Harry McIntosh.
The body will arrive in Nevada Tuesday morning accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Fry and Harry McIntosh.
Funeral services will be held at the Morfoot Funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Burial wil be in the Nevada cemetery by the side of the wife who passed away September 12, 1941.
Son of pioneer Nevada family, Mr. McIntosh had been active in Central Iowa Lodge of Odd Fellows of which he had been a member for over 50 years.
Mr. McIntoch is survived by the following children: Herman of Minnesota, Bes, Mrs. Orville Fry, Olney, Ill., Harry of Nevada, Lowell of Burlington, Grant and Alvin McIntosh of Ames.
One sister, Mrs. D. E. Hemstock of Boone, also survives.
