Robert J. Becvar, Colo, 31, died Sunday* at 7:25 a.m. at Story County Hospital in Nevada.

He had been in ill health since August 1959.

Born at Colo, he was the son of F. F. and Lois Becvar. He farmed in the Colo area.

He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Lou Anderson of Ames; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Becvar of Colo; two sons, Michael, seven and Paul, two; three daughters, Marcia Kay, 11, Lois Elaine, nine, and Virginia Lou, five; and six sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held from Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Hassel officiating. Burial is to be in Nevada cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.
