Timothy V. Bowers, 48, of Nevada, died Friday, September 6, 2013. He was born December 28, 1964 to Dale and Joyce (Bell) Bowers in Sioux City, Iowa. Tim graduated from Gilbert High School in 1983 and was a talented carpet layer for over 20 years. He was a big sports fanatic and loved the Cyclones, Vikings, Lakers and Oakland A’s. Tim loved his family more than anything. He was a very generous, caring and kind-hearted man.

Tim is survived by his mother, Joyce Bowers of Gilbert; his daughter, Tricia; his sisters, Dawn (Todd) Emery, Cindy (Jeff) Whitefield, and Vicki Bowers, all of Gilbert; and nieces and nephews, Heather, Mike, Austin, Steph, Matt, Jeremy, CJ, Natalie and Hannah.

His love for the Cyclones is why we are choosing this day to remember his life: please wear you colors (ISU) on Saturday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Story Memorial Gardens for a graveside service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Bowers.
