FRANK PIERCE

Frank Pierce, 74, for over half a century a resident of Story county, died at his home at Colo at 1 p.m. Monday from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy suffered on Friday. Mr. Pierce drifted off into an apparent sleep about 10 o'clock Saturday night* and never regained consciousness.

He leaves a wife and eight children, Mr. and Mrs. Pierce having celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home last August 5.

The family had lived at Nevada for several years, before locating in Colo, where their home had been for a great many years.
