Phyllis Louise Forbes

Phyllis Louise Forbes, 67, of Nevada, died Friday, April 25 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

She was born January 21, 1913 in Nevada, the daughter of Richard and Florence Allen Boller. She was a 1931 graduate of Nevada High School.

On August 30, 1933, she married Harry Forbes.

In 1976, she retired from Donnelley Marketing after 25 years. She was a member of the Nevada Library Board for 19 years.

She is survived by her husband, Harry; four sons, Tom of Arlington, Va., Tim of East Amhersts, N.Y., Dan of Ames and Joe of Nevada; two brothers, Allen Boller of Atlantic and Jack Boller of Waterloo; four sisters, Gladys Kiburz of Afton, June Terrill of Newell, Lorella Mauer of Ames, and Bettly Lehman of Collins; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada. Rev. Charles Terrill officiated. Burial followed in the Nevada Cemetery.
