Death of William E. Whiteman This Morning

William E. Whiteman, 82, of Nevada who has been ill the past two weeks has passed away at 3 a. m. this morning at 804 Seventh Street at the age of 82 years, three months and two days.

He was born in McLain county, Ill., a son of John and Helen Whiteman. He has been a resident of Nevada for the past four years.

He was married to Mrs. Eva Stewart, Nov 29, 1887 in McLain County, Ill.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eva M. Grierson of Lohrville, Iowa and Mrs. Genova Miller of St. Paul, Minn. He also leaves one brother, Frank Whiteman of Madelia, Minn. and three sisters, Mrs. Ella Lock of Nevada, Mrs. Eva Rebman of Nevada, Mo. and Mrs. Nancy Nutt of Camden Point, Mo. There are also three grandchilden and three great grand children.

The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home until time for the services. Funeral arrangements were not complete at noon today.
