EUNICE HARRIET BEANE

Eunice Harriet Beane, 75, of 1927 7th St., Nevada IA died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1986 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines IA.

She was born July 25, 1910, at Gilbert IA to Sam and Laura (Ostrem) Askelson. She had been a resident of Nevada 14 years.

Mrs. Beane was office assistant in the Mills County Farm Bureau office and in later years was secretary in the Rudd, Rockford & Marble Rock Junior High and High School.

She graduated from Gilbert High School and attended business college in Des Moines.

She was married to Ralph A. Beane March 28, 1936 at Iowa City IA.

She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph; a son, Blaine Beane of Barrington Hlls IL; two daughters, Alanna (Mrs. Richard) Nelson of Middleton WI and Karent (Mrs. Richard) Norstrud of Britt IA; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Oliver Peterson of Story City IA and Almira Dodds of Ames IA.

Funeral services will be at Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada, Friday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery. Pastor Forrest E. Chaffee will officiate.

Arrangements are in charge of Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St and G Ave., Nevada.
