Jean Greer
May 6, 1943 - June 17, 2013

Alice Jean Greer was born May 6, 1943 to Leo and Elizabeth (Dankqert) Copeland in Portland, Oregon. She worked as a Customer Service Representative for Dekalb-Pfizer. Her interests included golfing, fishing, playing cards (Skip Bo!) and cooking and baking. Jean especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Jean passed away June 17, 2013 in Ames, Iowa at 70 years of age

She is survived by her companion, Gary Greer of Ames; two daughters, Julie (Jim) Lee of Willow Springs, Illinois and Joline (Brad) Dye of Ames; five granddaughters, Jessica Lee, Melissa Lee, Jaime (Erik) Bunker, Allison Dye and Kelsie Dye; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Madeja; and two brothers, Howard (Katrina) Copeland of Gordon, Wisconsin and Leo Copeland of Buffalo, Wyoming.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Elizabeth; and her husband, Glenn Greer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in support of Memorial Lutheran Church, or Mary Greeley Medical Center Foundation.
