Barbara Jean Tesdall

Barbara Tesdall, 61, of Story City died om complications of a heart condition on Monday, Oct 23, 2000 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 27, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Story City with Rev. Brian McNamara officiating with Rev. Ray Hampton. Burial was in the Story City Cemetery.

Barbara Jean Tesdall was born on Nov. 19, 1938 in Boone, the daughter of Fred and Vivian (Willis) Petty. She graduated from Boone High School in 1957 and studied for three years at Boone Jr. College. She married Gene Tedall of Story City; mother, Vivian Hutson of Boone; one son, Brett and wife Kristen Tesdall of Bloomington, Minnesota; one brother, Fred Petty of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Marlys Burkheimer of Boone; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heart Association.
