Services held for Chad McElroy

Chad George McElroy, 11, died Nov. 12 at Westford, Pa. He was the son of Donald G. and Kathryn McElroy, formerly of Story City.

Funeral services were Friday at 2 p.m. from the Soderstrum Larson Funeral Home in Story City with the Rev. Ruben O. Aga of St. Petri Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Sylvia Ann, at home; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Larson of Story City.

A memorial fund has been established at the Department of Pediatrics, Stanford University Medical Center, Palo Alto, Calif.
