RAMON WICKS

Funeral services for Ramon Wicks, 59, were held from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City, Oct 3 with the Rev. C.A. Gisselquist officiating. Burial was in Story City Municipal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Melbourne Henderson, Jeffrey Carpenter, Gaylord Henryson, Mervin Teig, Edwin Hauge and Lloyd Henryson.

Mr. Wicks was born Feb. 16, 1915 in Story City. He was a graduate of Story City High School and worked in Ames most of his life. He died Oct 1 at Mary Greeley Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Linda Turner, San Jose, Calif.; a grandson; a sister, Beulah Starkey and a brother, Herman, both of Story City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
