Henry Samuelson Passes Away

Henry Samuelson, well known to many Roland folks, passed away at his home in Newark, Ill., on Thursday, March 8. He was 75 years old at the time of his death leaving to mourn his death, his wife, and two sons, Oscar and Bennie, and one daughter, Myrtle Peterson. He came to this country in the year 1871 and has since lived in Wisconsin and Chicago and here he was married to Miss Anna Olson, who died some years leater. He was the second time married to Miss Hannah Lura, an intimate friend of Mrs. John Evenson. He spent the greater part of a summer here and visited here off and on several times and in that time many learned to know him and friends still remember him. Funeral services were held on March 12 from the church in Newark where he was a member up to the time of his death.
